Bengaluru: ZF Group is set to present its advanced intelligent system solutions at EXCON 2025, demonstrating how its India-manufactured technologies are shaping the future of construction equipment.
Exhibiting at Hall 1, Booth G149, ZF will highlight its expertise in driveline technology, braking systems, and localized manufacturing designed to meet the construction industry’s demand for flexibility, rapid development cycles, and enhanced productivity.
At EXCON 2025, ZF Group will showcase technologies that contribute to ‘The Future of Construction’ by enabling low- or zero-emission operations and improving efficiency at construction sites.

EXCON 2025 Highlights ZF Group’s Local Manufacturing Expansion in Coimbatore
As part of its presence at EXCON 2025, ZF Group announced the expansion of local production of transmissions and axles from its newly inaugurated construction equipment plant in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The initiative follows ZF’s “local for local” approach to address specific requirements of Indian customers while serving global OEM demand.
The state-of-the-art off-highway manufacturing facility, inaugurated in June 2025, spans 10,000 square metres and supports ZF’s ‘Make in India for India and the World’ strategy.
The plant plays a key role in ZF Group’s growth and market penetration plans in India, catering to the construction equipment and railway segments.
ZF Group has invested €20 million, equivalent to approximately ₹192 crore, in early 2025 to strengthen innovation capabilities and localize world-class technologies for India’s evolving construction equipment sector.

EXCON 2025: Wheel Loader Technologies Focused on Efficiency and Comfort
At EXCON 2025, ZF will showcase its ERGOPOWER powershift transmissions for wheel loaders, engineered to deliver high productivity and fuel efficiency.
The standard four-speed transmissions, along with optional efficiency packages such as five-speed and DirectDrive variants, offer up to 15% fuel savings and productivity gains of up to 40%.
Complementing these transmissions are ZF’s MULTITRAC rigid axles, designed for heavy-duty wheel loader applications. Featuring compact construction, reduced weight, wet multi-disc brakes, and high ground clearance, these axles enhance efficiency while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance under extreme operating conditions.
EXCON 2025 Showcases Backhoe Loader Solutions Combining Power and Precision
ZF’s combined ERGOPOWER and MULTITRAC systems for backhoe loaders will also be featured at EXCON 2025.
The powershift transmissions enable smooth performance across digging and loading cycles, while the MULTITRAC axles support high torque demands, long service life, and reduced maintenance requirements for intensive excavation and backfilling operations.

A key attraction at EXCON 2025 will be ZF’s intelligent braking portfolio for off-highway applications. As a global leader in hydraulic and electrohydraulic braking systems, ZF supports construction, mining, agriculture, and heavy-duty sectors with advanced brake technologies.
ZF’s latest brake-by-wire solution allows vehicle deceleration to be controlled electronically, eliminating the need for hydraulic lines within the cab.
